We got new couches a couple of weeks ago. James said that he's too old not to have matching couches (he was just looking for an excuse to get some recliners too) so now we do. I don't care so much that they are matching so much as they all can recline- very comfy.
I also made an apple pie with some of the apples my dad picked off of his trees and my grandma Davis' trees. It was a very sweet pie and I kind of made the crust edge like grandma can, but no one can make it like Grandma Z.
James put a gooseneck hitch in his truck. His cousin came up and helped us move couches around and helped him with this project one weekend- they did a really good job, with minimal injuries to both the guys. He bought a new trailer and needed a truck that could pull it. He'd bought the hitch a while ago, but now had an excuse to put it in his truck.

For some reason Millie has started holding her paws like this when she lays down - it's weird.

That pie is perfect! My first one definitely didn't look NEAR as nice as that! Way to go!
